Headstart Pre-School Ltd is a privately owned pre-school set within Shevington Vale, our friendly primary school.

At Headstart Pre-School Ltd children have fun learning through play, socialising and completing activities with qualified, mature staff. The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS) is followed. All children practice and consolidate skills in the six areas of learning both in our spacious indoor and extensive outdoor and woodland environments.

Headstart Pre-School Ltd is very much part of the school. Children are given opportunities to meet other members of staff and pupils, take part in activities in different areas of the school and join in special events such as concerts and fundraising activities. We hope this will enable them to become familiar within the school environment and ease the transition into the Reception Class.

(Please note - not all children go on to attend Shevington Vale Primary School) - applications are welcome from all children.

HEADSTART SESSIONS

Children can attend the term after their 2nd birthday

Monday to Friday term time only

* We have funded spaces available for 2, 3 and 4 Year olds - Please call for further information*

Children are to attend at least 2 sessions per week or one full day

The eligible 30 funded hours will operate Monday to Thursday full day care and up to 1 o'clock on a Friday. Additional hours required will be available at a charge of £4.50 per hour.

2 year olds non-funded are charged at an hourly rate of £5.50 per hour.

ADMISSION

Children become eligible for admission to Headstart Pre-School Ltd from the term after their second birthday. In event of places being limited, applications will be added to a waiting list, places will become available in accordance with the setting Admission Policy.

As part of our Admission Policy (see below) we require a copy of your child's birth certificate.

Headstart Pre-School Ltd will require a separate contract to be signed upon admission to the setting.

We can only accept fully completed application forms. Forms not fully completed may result in the delay of your child's start date. Thank You.

Headstart Pre-School Ltd will not allow debt. If two consecutive payments are outstanding this may result with your child losing their place.
